Services by Department 
Administrative Computing Services
- software services and support for the University’s core administrative and business processes, including recruiting, admissions, registration, records, grading, financial aid, billing, financial accounting, human resources/payroll, alumni/development and scheduling
Center for Instructional Technologies
- Provides resources necessary for the effective development of faculty and staff
- Provides Distance Learning resources to the campus community
- Promotes and supports the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning
- Stays current with new technologies and their uses in higher education
- Collaborates with colleagues around the state regarding Best Practices
Client Services
- Campus-wide desktop support (Help Desk)
- ResNet: resident student network connection support
- Labs: teaching and departmental computer lab support
- Special Projects: specialized application support
- Acquisitions: hardware and software purchasing and distribution for campus
- Communications: information conduit to and from Information Systems
Krannert Memorial Library
- Provide a web page with links to library information and tools
- Purchase, catalog, shelve, and circulate books, periodicals, and non-print media, all of which are listed in an electronic catalog
- Subscribe to electronic databases and other electronic resources
- Provide an Interlibrary Loan program for borrowing and lending books and articles
- Maintain a Reserves Desk for with short circulation periods for materials needed by a whole class
- Assist students and faculty with their information research needs and teach how to use library resources
Media Services
- Classroom instruction and organizational presentation AV equipment scheduling and delivery
- Maintain permanently-installed instructional technology resources in University facilities
- Provide in-house technology resources for the development of mediated presentations
- Non-print media resource room maintenance
- Distance Learning facility, satellite headend, and video delivery backbone management
Network & Systems Services
- Installation and management of wired/wireless UIndy networks
- Account management
- Server and service Management
Office of the CIO
- Provides leadership, development, and support for all IS departments.
- Facilitates the appropriate use of information systems and technology in learning and enterprise environments through personal and professional means.
Telecommunications
- Oversees all voice services for the University, including all voice mail and teleconferencing services
Web Services
- Departmental and official University project website planning, development, and maintenance
- Assistance with official University website maintenance, including design, coding, and access questions
- Web-based application and form development
- Overall management of and assistance with the UIndy intranet
