Information Systems FAQ - How do I connect to my locker (H: drive) from my personal computer if I am on campus? (Win XP)

These instructions only work if you are connected to the UIndy network.

Open My Computer.
Go to Tools > Map Network Drive.
Choose any drive letter (the default is fine) from the Drive pulldown menu.

with your UIndy username.
If you choose, you may check the Reconnect at logon box if you want Windows to reconnect the drive automatically when you log in again. (DO NOT check this box if you're using someone else's computer.)
Click Finish.
Enter your UIndy username and password if you are prompted to do so and click Ok.

Your locker will open once the connection has been authenticated. An icon will appear in your My Computer listing as a shortcut. This shortcut will appear with a red X if you disconnect your computer from the UIndy network.
