I know my password, but want to change it. How do I do that? How often should my password be changed?

To change your password, do the following:

  1. Log in to My UIndy http://my.uindy.edu.
  2. On the Home tab, in the Channel labeled Preferences, click Change Password.
  • The University of Indianapolis requires all passwords to be changed every six months.
  • This reduces the likelihood of the password being discovered and reduces the length of time a compromised account can be unknowingly used for criminal activity.
